Such a shame you had to take a hammer to your fresh new paintwork. Hopefully with a little persuasion (big hammer) it'll drop in nicely. Can not wait to see this in person, once it's finally back out on the open roads

how about cutting some of that out with a grinder and weld in a notch so there is enough clearance ? looking good by the way mate

Erm nothing to say at the moment, I've remade the speedo area, just awaiting my new boost gauge.

Still working on the inlet, getting it shortened so it fits now.

Car will be going on axle stands this weekendto fit new fuel pump, swirl pot and lines.

Well ive got a few pics for an update, after the hammering didn't work we tried this:

Still didn't work! So today I welded it back together and began filling it:

Will hopefully be back to normal by end of the weekend.

Plan c is this:

Will get it welded together tomorrow. Smoothed a few dodgy welds out as well whilst it was apart.
Big thanks to my mate Adz for the help sorting this issue.

Also fitted the FPR in place, you can see the multi plug in the background
[Image: a3u9uty7.jpg]

New external fuel pump and swirl pot installed
[Image: pu8udy7u.jpg]

Excuse the colour, it was the only colour he'd powdercoat it for free in lol. It was originally meant to go under the car with the pump and filter but wouldn't fit.
Also ran my new supply line but difficult to photograph that

Dash is all back together:

New boost gauge in dash as I sold the pillar mount. The four LEDs are for reverse signal (no beeper anymore), RLTC activation, meth tank empty, meth system active.

Also just because I can:

Removed the rear interior door handles and replaced them with screens. I've fitted door poppers with the buttons by the front centre armrest.

Also reinsured the car with Adrian Flux this year. Just need to finish the manifold and run a couple more fuel lines and then the engine can go in and ready to go-ish (still got to fit the new intercooler and radiator)
