Supercharger Boost Pressure
As we all know, with the standard 130mm pulley, we should be getting around 0.3bar.
I'm wondering if someone (probably Stav) can tell me if this seems right or not.
I was driving my car the other day, giving it a 'spirited' run, and I noticed it I changed gear/depressed the clutch just before for rev limiter, the revs would suddenly increase to somewhere between 6500 and 7000 (way into the Red).
I have just been looking at the data from my AFR gauge (not from this drive out, but a few weeks earlier), and I seem to be getting peaks of 6 psi (approx 0.4 bar, with around 11afr).
I am just wondering is this normal?
I'd say its the spring on the bypass not opening quick enough.i wouldn't think the charger would be able to spin the engine but it may well just be doing that.
