Supercharger Boost Pressure
I'm wondering if someone (probably Stav) can tell me if this seems right or not.
I was driving my car the other day, giving it a 'spirited' run, and I noticed it I changed gear/depressed the clutch just before for rev limiter, the revs would suddenly increase to somewhere between 6500 and 7000 (way into the Red).
I have just been looking at the data from my AFR gauge (not from this drive out, but a few weeks earlier), and I seem to be getting peaks of 6 psi (approx 0.4 bar, with around 11afr).
I am just wondering is this normal?
As we all know, with the standard 130mm pulley, we should be getting around 0.3bar.

28-04-2020, 01:27 PM #2I'd say its the spring on the bypass not opening quick enough.i wouldn't think the charger would be able to spin the engine but it may well just be doing that.
