Colin G Hopefully that is detachable?? If not will fail an MOT I would've thought.

Like the wheels, not keen on the tow hook thing though.

I actually didnt know it would fail MOT's and i was in college today and my Tutors for my Light Vehicle Mechanics Course said it was illegal and i can get pulled over for it. so i cut off the exhaust bit that points up, but i thinki will keep it and flare it out so i can have it detachable.

Best thing to do is to drill a little hole in the bottom of the pipe to allow water to escape we have had to do this on a few cars

Is250 lad Best thing to do is to drill a little hole in the bottom of the pipe to allow water to escape we have had to do this on a few cars

well i took off the bosozuko pipe atm because (it is illegal) and as you can see in that video the pipe is down to bare metal so I sorted that out and I extended the side that will be connected to the rest of the exhaust and made it detectable by clamps, so i can put it on for car events/meets etc etc. So i don't think i'll need to drill a hole in it to let water escape because I can just remove it. But thanks for the advice Smile

I also need to clean up a few welds but just depends when i can get my car in my friends garage.

Hey guys just a small update on the bosozuko exhaust. I painted the pipe with black engine paint (if it doesn't look right can always use white or something) and my friend welded and extra piece of pipe to it to make it longer. I just need to flare it out a bit so i can have it detachable with clamps. [Image: 100_0002.jpg]

Sup guys? I havent posted up in about 2 weeks but this is the state of my exhaust now

It is not finished yet. I want to paint it with black engine paint to at least over the metal and prolong the life of it a little bit as it is not stainless. The flanges for the rear section are welded by previous owner! so i will order new ones and sort that out which will make taking the exhaust part a whole lot easier rather then taking it down all at once. And also will be getting a backbox that i can use with the exhaust sleeve not a crappy universal one tho. Im looking at genuine HKS,Apexi, etc etc backboxes.
