DaveEdin Bought a new one Big Grin Mazda 6 MPS... I'm checking out the state of modification currently and will fire up a build thread when ready. The Lexus shall get a For Sale ad shortly too...

Since I more than anyone else am aware that :ttiuwp:, here you go:

Congratulations mate on your new MPS. These engines reach 300bhp just remapping the oem ecu. Just don't go more than that with standard internals, they tend to collapse. Also many mps owners swap the position of the intercooler from top to front for better IC performance

Even the Mrs likes the Mazda MPS, but she says it would be better if it was a Supra?

Well after some kind person decided they wanted both lanes onto the roundabout last night i have been 1 fixing the 2 horribly kerbed wheels and 2 finding why my abs and tcs lights are now on.
Result is the wheels are now straight and smooth again i just need to find a paint code for the wheels now which seems almost impossible but visually all my sensors are intact no plugs dislodged and the ecu code is kicking out c1290 and c1953 which are abs and brake pressure sensors but what has actually gone wrong i dont know :-(

Yeah mate this has had a remap already and has been dynoed at about 280bhp. Will be more when I fit a boost controller and take it back to get the map tweaked. It's already running a front mount and I'm in discussions to get a set of the high pressure fuel pump internals fitted asap to support the fuelling needs...

Well I woke up about 11 (working nights) and decided the lex needed a bath after her week at the sea side and all that salt rain it had,

But now she's all clean, also picked up a full set of door sills of ebay for £20 so there fitted in the car

I've been trying to find out why my engine started detting when revving over 5k, we put a safe map on now but its not as powerful as it should be till i find out why.

I've made some brackets for the NOS pipework
Re earthed the igniters
Changed the main crank pully as it wobbles a bit

Just got to create some brackets for the igniters now
