After going for my NCT retest I was sorely disappointed yet again as the €100 i spent replacing my stabaliser links i get told i have failed yet again because the original fault was not repaired and after throwing my toys telling the ******* its their fault for giving me the wrong ****** part i am now 1)no closer to getting my NCT, 2)€100 poorer, 3)about to get another few €'s porer still 'cos i will have to now buy the correct part which happens to be the Rear Outer suspension arm bushings that link the arm to the hub, 4) these happen to be extremely hard to get and are not exactly easy to find, 5) i will also need to get a mechanic to do the job as i don't have all the tools to do the job which means even more ******* money spent.

I swear half of those clowns don't deserve their jobs 'cos they arent qualified to do it...

"Errm sorry sir but your links have not been replaced they are still worn", I mean really, since when have these bushes ever been called links, I have heard "Rear Axle Carrier Bushing", I have heard "Rear stub axle bush" but never have i heard it being called a link let alone "a rear link" there should be an ombudsmen of some kind to report these *********

I'm not peeved because i had to spend money on my car i'm peeved because i had to spend needless money on my car for something that is just another way for the local government to rob you of your hard earned cash only to not give you what you paying the money for in the first place!

NCT - FONTHILL YOU SUCK!!!

:mad::mad::mad::Chair::Bazza::Overkill:

Ok now that i have had my rant i need help finding these extremely rare parts, and if i can find them i need to see what i can do about fiting them either i need to find a tool that can press the busshes out and into the hub or i need to take it to a mechanic and pay him for 2 hours laybour... Wish me luck...

They aren't just normal bushes, they're spherical bearings. You're right, they are a pain in the **** to get - there's a guy on eBay who sells them sometimes.

Pete came up with a freshly machined uj and flange for my propshaft, so wasted no time and the rx7 is now complete from the gearbox to the rear wheels
