1. Is cash needed at JAE? If so, for what and how much would you bring? I suppose credit cards aren't very useful at the event.
2. If I was to buy a prepaid card for my phone in the UK, which one would you recommend? I'd like to at least be able to check my e-mail and make some calls if needed.
3. Where in the London area can I get a decent tent and sleeping bags cheap?

As with cash at the show theres trade stands and food so yes cash can be needed its upto you how much u bring hope that helps

Tents and stuff you can get from any camping shop even if u purchase online from a uk shop and maybe ask someone to use there address to post it too. Are you on a contract phone when I lived in germany and used a german contract it worked fine in the uk so u should be ok.
