Busy busy time then!

I've finished smoothing my engine bay. Just to spray it now then on with the engine rebuild.

Discovered a slight hick on hot idle and a slight flutter when the throttle is pressed to kick down at speed, feels like spark being blown out by turbo but as plugs are new and as it does it at idle im going for coils, collecting new set tomoz for £150 Smile

And from the side:

to this:

Took about 11 hours and it could improve quite a lot, as we didn't machine polish it.

Loaded a huge amount of mdf into it, to burn on the log burner. Nothing beats free fuel!!

totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

Fabulously productive day, managed to free off 3 proper seized front brake slide bolts and a caliper piston on the Soarer and fitted new cop coils to Stagea too Smile

Adjusted my headlight alignment.

Spent a good couple of minutes twiddling the wrong adjustment screw (the one that does left and right) so had to guess where that was. Lined up the dark spot in the middle of the bulb with the beam centre circle on the lens moulding as a rough guide.

Then another 10 to realise that each projector gives the same overlapping cut-off (it's not left light does the left side and visa versa like I expected)

Once I'd got that sussed I was able to line them up with each other, and then raise the beam so I can actually see where I'm going now and still not blind oncoming traffic.

Don't think I'll ever need main beam for anything but flashing people from now on :Shooting:
