Here we have a 1986 Honda civic 3rd Gen, a rare car to see on the roads today.

This car came rolling into the garage with a lot of welding that needed doing and rusting bodywork. I fixed these problems and extended the rear arches also for spacers on the back. By using spacers it gave the car a very wide look from the back which definitely improves its tough look.

Engine bay:

The engine has been out, cleaned and painted with high temp orange paint. The engine bay was tucked on the right hand side to tidy it up a little and the large ugly air filter replaced for a much neater filter.
A new race spec honda civic aluminium radiator has been fitted along with fan and the engine bay sprayed blue.

Interior:

The interior was almost gone completely having been used on a farm previously. The back seats have been removed and two bucket seats have replaced the front seats. The dash and door panels are a mix of the standard car and the DX model for a grey and brown interior which works surprisingly well.
A new sound system take up the back space with custom mounting. An 8 inch sub, two 6 inch spkrs + two tweeters & two 10cm spkrs are contected up to a 2400 watt Auna amp.
A custom LED light has been fitted to the back of the car facing forwards with a custom wooded switch to light up the interior as well as the original lighting in the civic.
A strip neon runs all the way around the back window which at night looks awesome.
A new carpet has been fitted also

Exterior:

This honda has been sprayed up a Ral 7040 grey which is very slightly blue. I wanted to give it a rat look without going to far gone, but i am sure the photos are rather self explanatory. The plastic trim has been sprayed black and other parts carbon fibred.

Wheels:

The wheels are steel and have been sprayed sky blue & beige. These are very rare wheels and have the original centre Honda caps. The car would look even greater if these wheels were banded. Aluminium lugs hold on the steelies.

Trailer:

Recycled barn doors make the slats on top with a welded steel frame supporting it. The frame is then connected to a 3rd gen civic back axel with steel honda wheels. This is an awesome looking trailer. All it needs is a tow hook and then its complete!

The engine runs and the brakes all work. I am 95% sure that all the original electronics work also, if not would be easy to fix.

Only a small amount of work is needed to put this car on the road, mainly just finalising and fine tuning a few things.

THE CAR COMES WITH LOTS OF SPARE PARTS:

2 doors
front and rear bumper
engine
gearbox
boot lid
rear seats
trim
DX dashboard (rare)
etc

Will need to be trailered away.

Feel free to ask any questionsSmile
