I was thinking of installing them like how these head lights are on this 2000GTR but not as extreme on the angle only just enough that it is noticeable.

03-02-2021, 10:21 PM #46Hi i just did the tappets on my car and they were .20 gap which is tighter then manufacture spec which is .30 but it is really really tappy now like really loud. I hate the sound. i was thinking of running thicker oil. Spec is 5w30 car is a 16 valve 1.3L. i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on what oil i should use because I'm thinking is i get oil a bit thicker to will science the tapping noise a little bit.
But of you post in the Opie oil part of the forum for a recommendation they will certainly send you in the right direction

10-02-2021, 01:35 AM #49Thanks. An update now and this is a sad one. The engine is on its way out. Its knocking and big ends are going now. :/ gutted after all the work i've done to it even tho its not much i enjoyed my time with this car even though its a 1.3L and only 63 hp I'd fix it but i can't find the parts and just seems like a good point to upgrade now. Always remember it as my first UK car. It got attention of unlikely people. its last meet was at JDM North at Asda in trafford.
