hi all i am curently in the middle of fitting an eaton m62 supercharger kit and the guy who is doing it is telling me about the charger haveing a clutch and it cant be engaged via the ecu.

there is a cable coming from the charger and i would like to know if this will engage it if it is wired up to battery. or does it need a switch

what is the best way to engage the clutch?

Yes there's wires coming from it, you can permanently engage it, but that'll just drain your battery.

So either run it via the ignition so it's only on when the engine is, or attach it to a switch you can turn on when you want, or get a throttle switch so it only comes on when you put the throttle past a certain postion
