Stav, what size is your turbo exhaust housing and when do you hit positive and peak boost in the rpm range?

You thinking of getting a turbo mate?

I have spent the last 3 months iterating through a big spreadsheet and will be in a position to start hoarding bits towards the end of the year, yes. I'm just trying to find some empirical evidence that I'm on the right track in terms of part selection.

Well I've finally got her up and running well.

When I got her rebuilt, though not in time for mod nats, I had a few niggling problems.

Leaking coolant
Oil leak
Running rich

So I've spent some time sorting them out by changing a few o rings, sorting out my fuel pressure, and then there was just the oil leak.
3 attempts later including changing the sump with the engine still in the car (not an easy job), I've hopefully solved it!

I've missed driving it so much, love the reactions to it.

Just one issue to sort is it struggles to start when warm so I'll have to figure that out but I can still drive it so no problems.

I've also tidied up my interior and fitted my last few switches. As something different as well I've changed the steering wheel and stalks to ones from an IS250:

Just need to sort an airbag out for it. I've also wired the buttons to control my stereo and roll control.
The stalks are a little harder to get working but I'm most of the way there now, just the intermittent wiper to sort out, but I'm going to retrofit auto wipers and attach them to that setting.

Can't wait for japshow now!

Wow very good news you got it back up and running. The engine bay looks awesome and you got a nice short path for the intercooler piping.
The is250 steeringwheel mod is awesome!!! Very nice steering wheel. No mods needed to fit it on the axle?

No it fits straight onto the spine, but the one I've got is just ever so slightly off centre when going straight. And the spine the other way takes it too far.
