you must instal the blackbox. It will stop the car from having fuelcut.
When you havent instal the blackbox when you boost the car anywere above 0,2 bar the car gets fuelcut.
The oem supercharger setup runs 0,34 bar so with oem setup you will allready get fuelcut when the blackbox is not installed.
If you did instal the blackbox right and still wont help your problem with the fuelcut then probably the blackbox is broke.
Patrick lindblom here on the forum sells them.

also when you dont have a bypassvalve installed you can only drive with wide open throttle because when you drive half gas or idle the charger builds up to much boost and the air cant go nowere. A blowoff valve only dumps when there is pressure difference. For example when you pull and quickly let of the gas. It goes from boost to vacuum so it dumps. But when normally driving and slowly of the gas it wont dump so the air is trapped and build up pressure.
you definately need a bypass to circulate the trapped air.

i do have a black box installed and it was from patrick i got it. ithe system workds fine without a bypass system . 2 buddies of mine have the same setup and it runs fine and even they have no black box. then again they are running off the crankshaft pully but im running a 145 pully i made on my waterpump. tell me is .5 boost my problem ??. i could accept what you are saying but why would car run ok for 10 mins and then conk. if the bypass was the problem would i not be having these problems straight away when i start car ?? thanks for your input i really appreciate it Smile

Hmm you have a 145mm pulley? Have you also git bigger injectors? You will need bigger injectors to run with this pulley. It will lean out with the oem injectors.
For example you can use 1zzfe green injectors these are 260cc and will run perfect with 145mm pulley 0.5 bar and the blackbox

hmmmm but why would it run ok for 10 mins and then go bad. if i stop the car and let it fully cool down again she will run ok for 10 mins. i cant understand why this problem happens only after 10 mins. what would i get these injectors off do you know ?? like my fuel pressure is up at 5 bar and stays good at that Smile

You can get these from a 1.8 1zzfe engine from avensis celica or such.
You say you run with .5 bar fuelpressure? Do you run a fuel pressure regulator?
With the 1zzfe injectors you can run with oem fuel pressure not sur how much that is.
You got some weird problems i am not sur what else ig could be

cool ill look into that
yes i have a dw fuel pressure reg
car has never run fine and no ive never run a smaller pully

the plan next is to run off crankshaft pully , return black box for testing and see what happens

It might be running okay for the first ten minutes as in that time the engine will run a rich mixture until it is up to operating temperature. Once it is warm the mixuture leans out and that could be why it conks out. Your setup with the bigger pully is probably putting in too much air and it's not getting the fuel to match it.
It will be hard to work what the genuine air fuel mix actually is because from what I know the job of the black box is to hide the boost from the ECU. The black box gives the ECU a false reading of sorts to maintain it's set operating parameters for air and fuel mix otherwise the ECU sees the boost and thinks its a fault and throws the EML and limp mode on.

The bigger injectors could be a posibility to solving the problem.
