new garage, then ramps needed
new garage, then ramps needed
Thats a good point there Pete about making sure the floor is strong enough , as for roof height it will be 14 feet so that will be ok.
ill do a few mesurements for you on monday mate...
Well a small update on this the size is going to 18m x 7.6 m .
I have been given a quote for all the steel work made and fitted also the cladding and roof , but I've still to get a quote for the floor and the 4' of brick wall all the way round and the doors that I want . The ones I want are sectional garage doors and I need three of them with two being electric So up till now this wont be going ahead until early / mid next year now because its a little bit more than I had bargained for so need to save up a little bit more :tongue_smilie: Oh and still not asked for planning permission but I cant see this being a problem.
Well a small update on this. ....
The founds are getting dug out on Monday and cement poured for the founds on Tuesday.
Then the erecting of the garage should start 2 Weeks after that. That will be enough time to get the steel frame fabricated. Pictures to follow once the work starts.
THis is going to be awesome when done mate!
You need to start getting your hands dirty then!
Yes can't wait for this to get done. I've been to long without a garage.
Well things did not go to plan so far.
I could not get it organised for Monday. :-(:-(
But the good news it's getting started tomorrow morning.:-)
I can't wait for this , oh and I'm going to be the Dumper truck driver lol
Haha big boys toys!
just quick note for ramps u need to be able to use 6" bolts ie the floor needs to be able to be drilled down more then 6"s. And when it comes to ramps there's all kind of them out there but keep in mind the height of the things ur be working on. Sorry if this all sounds like a moan but I install them as a living.
Ps pm me if you need any advice. Might even be able to get a second hand one for you and install I my self depending on ur location as I'm in Bristol.
