Hi guys. I have a 2007 1.5 petrol daihatsu Materia. I was listening to the engine idling yesterday and it holds its revs nicely for about a minute then goes a little faster for same length of time and keeps fluctuating like this at idle.
Is there a problem somewhere?
What could be causing this?

Is the air con on? Does the fan activate at the same time?

I made sure the aircon was off and it happens even when the radiator fan is off.

Does the Rev pitch change quickly, i.e. runs at one speed for a second or so then changes to another for a second or so?
