Looking good good mod on the bonnet

Managed to fit the new spoiler on Saturday with lots of help from the old man! The end 'wings' on the spoiler were hitting the rear quarter panels when the mounting faces were mated with the bootlid meaning it had to be raised just slightly. Paddy made some inch thick spacers out of plastic which were spot on height wise!

We then hit a slight snag with the new mounting holes. They sat just in the worse possible place where the bootlid folds on the underside which meant we would of had to either get a hole saw or grinder on the underside....not groovy!

So! Solution came from Paddy once again of some adapter brackets from the current mounting holes to the bottom of the spacers. 3mm think aliminium was just the trick!

So there we go all re-sprayed and fitted! I really like it although Rebecca isn't all that impressed
