Cyntax's 323f Sport
Cyntax's 323f Sport
Copied from the welcome thread, but its a start!
My wolf in sheep's clothing; 323f 2.0 Sport.
The engine is a stock 2.0 DOHC N/A lump, pushing around 140bhp.
Lots of things have been done to these engines, including retro fitting the mazdaspeed turbo kit. Any more than 8psi on these will blow the internals, so without going forged, I doubt I'll ever get over 220bhp on a daily runner.
For now, I'm just looking to have a nice clean (stealthy) car, that is reliable.
The paintwork is a bit shoddy, with stone chips everywhere! As long as I can find a suitable daily to use on the cheap, she'll have a respray before JAE this year
Current mods include:
6000k HIDs
LED side lights
Removed number plate surround
Custom number plates
MazdaSpeed front spleeeeter
Painted headlights bezels
MX5 alloy wheels
Painted calipers
Air diversion panel (under bonnet)
Billet oil cap
Raised Mazda badge on the rocker cover
Removed air ducting (for nice induction noise!)
Clear side repeaters, with silver bulbs
Mist washer jets
Short shift kit
Custom made stainless gear knob (no polishing needed!)
Painted interior panels
Brushed dial surrounds
Mazda boot lip protector
Aero rear wiper arm
Bee sting aerial
Custom made sub box, with 2 x 200w Kenwood 6x9 subs and a 200w Kenwood slimline amp
Pioneer single dinn head unit
Flip Key
There is probably more, I just can't remember!
And on to the good stuff!
And this is what it looked like stock:
Up coming mods (for this year I hope) include:
Custom rear valance for a second zorst
Custom stainless exhaust system (cat-back)
Stainless exhaust header
40mm drop all round (spax)
40% tints in the rear
Double dinn head unit
Induction kit
JDM power fold mirrors (if I can figure out the wiring for the **** things!)
Looks nice and tidy mate!
Right; after I've got the replacement bumper, and modified valance painted and fitted, I'm going to have a bash at refurbing my wheels, as the lacquer is bubbling, and there are some curb marks
I fancy changing the colour a bit, but not sure what to. Here it is at the moment;
I was thinking either matt bronze, or a dark (ish) graphite.
What do you guys think?
