Hi folks , can anyone give me some tips on removing my dash ?
Or is there a how to ?
I'm thinking on removing it to get to the back of my heating problems. Also I'm getting a bit of condensation in the middle at the bottom of my windscreen .
Also the windscreen mists up if I don't have my ac on.

So thought it needs big investigation !!

Lexus IS200 Mods--TTE Supercharger, Tein Superstreet Coilovers & EDFC, 6000K HID Lights, HKS Silent High Power Exhaust, DBA Front Discs, Kenwood DNX9240 Head Unit, 19" Rims, TRD Kit, FIGS Bonnet Struts, Greddy Pillar Pod & Defi Gauges, TTE Red ARBS . And Been To WIM twice

It's not that hard to be honest having done it a few times.

The a pillars need to come off. Steering wheel, speedo, glovebox and stereo etc. Then I think there is 5 bolts and it pulls out

I had that problem before Moley. Turned out to be my heater core which decided to start leaking. Got it in good time tho. Do you get the smell of coolant in the car ? Or a wet Driver/Passenger side front carpet ? Dash has to be removed and is a big job to fix. All in all it took me two days to sort between work and all. If you need any info let me know and il be happy to help. Smile

No I've not got a Coolant smell and up till now no wet carpets.

But I'm not going to start this job till I get my winter car on the road.
But I've no idea how to do it. Like how to get the steering wheel off. So any good pointers would be more than helpful

Dash removal is pretty straigh forward. Remove centre console and gear stick surround tray, Glove box , plastic peice below steering wheel. Colum plastic and then youve got your main bolts that hold it to the car really and a few niggley bits
