What about just looking at springs instead of coil overs for lows? Could be a cheaper option for you.

As for double din Rabs is the man to speak to for installing it. We've also done installs of stereos/alarms at shows lol

I have looked at springs but then people tell me to change the OEM shocks or suspension is it? I was looking at these.. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performanc...-rear-30mm

I haven't got any new photos as of yet but I have made a few purchases.
I now have a mugen rep front splitter to go on (Needing someone to fit it first and then take it to the body shop for a respray on both bumper and splitter.)
And a Tegiwa short shifter.
Again it's all just waiting on a little help from certain car friends because I'm not good with this sort of thing.

I've had bad experiences dropping new springs on to old shocks... So might as well buy new shocks and springs...

But fir a few £ more just buy coilovers with all the adjustment you would ever need.

I'll see what the price difference is then.. See what's going to work on my shitty budget lol.

Done a few little mods today to the inside of the car with help from a friend. Started off with the Tegiwa short shifter..

Before -

After it's fitted..

And finished..

Then while everything was off I changed the rubber gear gaiter to a leather one with purple trim.. It's only taken me a few months to get around to such an easy job.

Nice Honda! Smile

Coilovers are expensive for the EP3 because the front suspension is uses the shock itself as a load bearing component. So it needs to be stronger.

Best thing to do is decide how long you want to keep the car and how far you want to go with it. Don't waste money on springs if 12months down the line you will go out and buy coilovers anyway. And on the other side of the coin, don't waste money on coilovers if you plan on selling it in the next 12 months.

If your getting springs, I suggest Tein. They are really high quality, and compliment the EP3's chassis well.
Coilovers go with - Tein or BC Racing.

Either way, the EP3 is a cracking car, and responds well to modifying. Looks like a nice example too. Smile

Yes definitely thought about hydro dipping. Think that's what I am aiming for and would prefer. Looking for something purple/silver to keep the silver ish part of the interior as added silver Mugen (Rep) pedals a while ago. Think I forgot to post that one :/

Thank you James. Well I do plan to keep the car for as long as I can possibly afford it. At this moment in time it looks like I could be forking out over £400 for a paint job on my front end as the bumper is a terrible mess.
I think I'm going to have to go the cheapest route but I just hope it doesn't end badly. Hence why I'll probably string it out while I throw money in to paint jobs and new exhaust system.

I'd like to hear something good about just running lowering springs..

Well I've taken a plunge and had to go with lowering springs for the car. Just happy to post another update on a new mod. These arrived today from ABP Motorsport..

Should be getting them fitted Sunday.
Already had a negative comment from my other half who is definitely not in to cars at all. He says I'll ruin my car!
