I have a lot going on at the moment.. Such things include..
Lowering springs/Suspension change
Fitting mugen rep splitter
Paint job on bumper and splitter
New centre console and door handles (Been dipped by Prodip Hydrographics) They're on their way to me right now.
My goodies ready to go for suspension change!
I will be carless as of tomorrow as I'm leaving my car in with a body shop who're going to do the first 3 things on my list there. By the time I get it back I should be able to fit my fancy new centre console and door handles next weekend (So long as they arrive tomorrow!) Will post a sneaky photo when I get them. Richard is amazing at what he does (Prodip Hydrographics) - Kept me up to date every step of the way. The parts look AMAZING from what I've seen in photos. Really excited to get them in!
Now very recently I finally got around to buying a new well deserved air filter for my AEM induction kit.
As you can see the one that came with the kit that I brought second hand months and months ago had seen far better days. I wasn't best pleased with this purchase! Get sick of buying things second hand and they not being as described.
That's all fitted now. I'll find out tomorrow if all is well with it! Not using the car today. It looks far better than the previous one. Bit smaller but clean and not squashed!
As you can see I painted the pipe purple because that was in a shoddy state to..
And then I purchased a little foot rest plate to match my Mugen rep pedals (Which I think I forgot to post about when I fitted them!)
So that's it for now. More updates the end of the week when I get my car back. Hopefully all goes well! I'm soooooo nervous about lowering my car and even leaving it with someone nerves me as well but the guy seems reputable!
I'm a massive worrier!!! cared:
I hate leaving my car anywhere, some garages just don't appreciate how much people care about their cars.
He only does good work!
I got my car back on Thursday now 30mm lower and looking so tidy and meaner on the front now. I will definitely be going back to Hybrid Paintworks in Harlow. David is a great guy who owns the place and done an amazing job for me!
I have a after and before photo below -
Next on my list of jobs last night was to remove the center console and door handles in the car to replace with my fancy new dipped ones from Prodip Hydrographics. I sat there all night as my radio was being a pain to get out and I was having to take off all my old buttons and fans and put them on to my new one.
Here's how it looked as I start the job..
Door handles were in..
And then 7:30pm I finished..
The interior looks sooo much better. Makes me smile when I get in my car! Now I got Richard telling me he has a speedo surround for the civic.. Tempting me in to dipping more now.
Any way took the car to the local multi story car park for a few quick photos. Here's my favourite so far. Working on my automotive photography again!
that interior is awesome!
