If I just got the downpipe then I'd need to replace both ends of it, because one end would be wrong for my turbo, and the other end is custom fit for their decat pipe and doesn't look like it'd fit the OEM centre pipe and cat.

Mainly because you could in theory fail a roadside emissions test without it, and have the police impound your car. ok, that's not a terribly likely scenario but it's possible nonetheless, and I'd rather not have to worry about that.
