Bandit You'll see quite a few of us off the lexus forums mate, Wink

Not sure what to suggest car wise? the evo's are a nice motor but not cheap to keep at there best? (3000-4500 miles a service depending on model) suffer melted pistons/rings, eat diffs, plus a few other faults that are pretty common? But can be a great machine if you can find a good one?

I've got the Skyline R33 GTS-T 2.5 turbo, been great since i brought it, takes kids in the back seat very well and does go pretty well :w00t: parts can be quite cheap for them too if you shop around? Standard the fuelling not too bad but when you start to play with them it does go down quite a bit!

Or another option might be a Subaru legacy B4, cracking motor and they shift, plenty of room in the back and pretty reliable if been looked after :thumbup1:

Funnily enough, spent Sunday afternoon just gone, looking at an older Legacy RS (1998) in mint condition, but just felt a bit of a downgrade on the inside to a IS200. Might have a look at a newer model then!

Have considered a Skyline, and a SX200 but I think they are becoming quite sought after, and thats put the prices up. For the age of car I dont think you get too much of a good deal for the cash.

Going to trawel through the trader now LOL!

Thanks everyone for warm welcome,

Why not go for an Altezza then and try and get some half leather for it off ebay.

40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross

That thought has crossed my mind too, my IS is the S base model. Bought bought the half leather n fitted it myself. Still got the old interior. Could quite easily swap it back before sale. hmm.... good thinking that man! :thumbup1:

Not really up on Altezza's do they all have 210 bhp un modified or is that just the RS200 or does that have more than a stock tezza:blink:

Yeah, they have 210bhp, which is not far off what you get from a supercharged IS200. Very tempted.

How much does Bandit what for his skyline??

Thanks Dimis
