Surely that MX-5 has got to be a good buy? If you could get it for around £800ish, I think you might be able to get a profit out of it if you sell again in the summer?

Or am I just talking b******s

ok, I'm leaning towards going down the "boring, but easy to resell" route, and have been seeing what Fiestas are out there. Found this one, anyone know about Fiestas who has any particular comments on them ?

Steve the 1.3 are ok but really try and find the 1.25 Zetec engine this is a much better engine.
Stay away from any Auto as these had problems with the gearbox.

Other than that a good little car.

Thanks. Yeah I will stay away from autos, don't think they make sense on small cars like that, and poss harder to resell. I was wondering about the 1.3 vs the 1.25 Zetec.

Zetec are much better engines and these really changed Ford cars into a better all round product.
The zetec were in three sizes engines, available in 1.25l, 1.4l and later 1.6l forms

The engine give better performace along with better fuel returns and the engine is alot quiet than the 1.3 model
