Pictures: A fantastic day in eight exotic sports cars
Earlier this summer a dream of mine came true, I got the opportunity to drive eight different sports cars during a day on twisting country roads, wide highways and finally an empty airfield
My girlfriend snapped a few pictures while I was driving and I took the rest of them.
A very pleased me in a Ferrari F430 Modena F1
your car is amazing and your images are top class, what camera have you got?
Amazing pictures Patrik !
I'm sure you had a fantastic time there, how long did it take to get the grin off your face ?!
Same from me, amazing pics!
That sounds like an awesome day, how do I get me a day out like that! Seriously though, looks incredible, which was your favourite?
Serious metal and carbon there. I would love to go on a day like that.
I assume you got to open up the throttle a fair bit then, which was the best to drive????

Saraj your car is amazing and your images are top class, what camera have you got?Thank you mate. I've got a Nikon D80 and the lenses I used for these photos are the Sigma 10-20mm and the Nikkor 55-200mm VR
Marsdendean Can i ask how much this day cost you (if you dont mind me asking) and was this in Sweden? It was in Sweden, not far from my home actually. A limo picked me and a few other car enthusiasts up and took us to where all the cars were waiting. Then we took turns driving all the cars for two hours until we arrived at the airfield where we could play around on both a small course and the runway
Thanks
steviewevie Amazing pictures Patrik ! :thumbup:Thank you mate  My face was almost cramping from all the grinning. In fact, in the picture of me in the F430 I really struggled to not look like an idiot :tongue_smilie: The whole day I was afraid I would hate my own car when driving it the next time, but I guess I was so sure my car would feel boring that I actually were surprised when I finally got to drive it again. It was sort of emotional when I realized my little IS200 won't dissapoint me.

parthiban Same from me, amazing pics!I'm pretty sure there are events like this in The UK as well. I believe I read something about driving a Ferrari at Silverstone Circuit.

Lexusboy Pics are very good mate looks like you had a awesome day out.:thumbup1:Thanks mate
2tongues Serious metal and carbon there. I would love to go on a day like that. Both on the way to the airfield and on the runway we were allowed to drive really fast. The first thing I had to do was signing a paper that said I had to pay for any speeding tickets I get during the day. I know it's irresponsible to break the traffic laws, but that day I didn't really care that much. I was an early saturday morning and there were very few cars on the roads.

Dan_Turism0 awesome pics patrik, which was the fave?I'm not entirely sure which one was my favorite, but the most insane car was without doubt the Porsche 997 GT2. 530hp, rear wheel drive and a manual gearbox was seriously scary to drive. The sound from the Ferrari V12 in the 599 GTB Fiorano was the most lovely, thogh.
