Top Gear.
Top Gear.
Yeah seen that but what about around the track:Sulk: top 3 I think:tongue_smilie:
The question of "which car company made the greatest number of great cars" interesting one, I have no idea which one they will choose??????? I bet it is something obscure or just go with Ford - certainly if you look at the 80's and 90's Ford would have a strong case.
Surely everyone knows that most of the stuff Top Gear shows is just staged and not real at all ? It's more of an entertainment programme that happens to have some cars in it. I don't watch it myself because of the first bit.

indeed like the gallardo crash in ep1 in Romania

Totally agree it is an entertainment show and therefore the slating of the original stratos is fine and you have to take it as it is.
Have to admit though that if those guys are not making it up and they deliberately gave the impression that the kit car was rubbish when it wasn't, that is unfair to those businesses whose image would have been damaged by what is effectively slander.
Unlike the part where they were driving around and bits of the Lancia were falling off which is obvious to anyone that it's clearly staged, it's not that difficult to actually believe that a kit car is rubbish with such strong evidence provided on screen............
Oh Dear indeed.
it if fun to watch but the effect such shows could have
I found last nights episode boring, apart from the bit about the hot air baloon
these days its hard to work out whats staged or not, like the bit when the hot air baloon went in to the airport and a police helicopter was dispatched was that staged?
and most of the episodes are shwoing after the watershed now, due to the arm cutting off advert clarkson made last series and was shown before 9pm which was investigated
Last night was the worst one they have done looks like they have run out of idea's.
I watch this programme and enjoy it but those guys can talk a lot of rubbish and are only interested in super cars.
Do you think if we asked Chris Evans He would let us go and visit his garage as a club?
Let find his email address and ask.
