clutch slipping
clutch slipping
i think my clutch has just started to start slipping,in a worst case scenario and the clutch is knackered will it be possible to just change it and the flywheel will be ok or do they both go at the same time

mine went at the same time mate defo get it checked sooner rather than later though as the longer you leave it the more chance the flywheel will go and I won't even tell you how much a OEM flywheel from lexus costs you may cry :p

yeah the flywheel should be ok, just need the garage to check its still flat when they remove the clutch.

When my clutch went I only got the clutch changed .
We did nothing with the fly wheel.
I got my one for *****x ( a couple of years ago) but would go somewhere else for it matey.
Check it ASAP. If you have caught it relatively early then your flywheel should still be fine.
You can't get the OEM flywheel skimmed because it's a dual-mass one, you can only do that with a solid flywheel (e.g. aftermarket lightweight flywheel).
