Was looking it up on the web though and it looks fantastic, imagine how cool it is to combine navigation with satellite maps, or even better with streetview to actually see where you are going. Reviews say it does still feel like a free app, but all it will take is a hookup with Garmin or similar to turn it into a proper nav.
And if car manufacturers decide to buy in then that will be another step in Google's takeover.........

Google maps updated itself a few days ago on my phone and now it includes a beta of google navigation but sadly its US only so can't test it out at the mo.

Good point, I wonder if Google will get in trouble with any copyrights for that.......if not, I'm guessing NDrive may have a little bit of trouble if Google's free app can do the same thing (especially as reviews of those NDrives are pretty poor)
