actually now youve reminded me i have something for that as well!

you know with the standard IS alarm someone could pick your car up and put it on a trailer and the alarm wouldnt sound!

Theres no tilt sensor on the standard alarm.

Only sensors for interior movement and doors opening.
Ive bought a tilt sensor. you wire it to the alarm and bolt it to the body work. If the car tilts or moves it sets the alarm off. so will stop people nicking your wheels as well hopefully.

obviously a small amount of movement is allowed for strong winds etc.

just bought it off ebay before anyone asks, but im sure you can get them

Yeah, there's an 2-stage addon module for my alarm to do the same thing. I'm considering upgrading my alarm to use microwaves instead of ultrasonics too, I fancy losing the bits that stick out of the A pillars.
