I don't think there's that much risk to his reputation, unless he ends up at the back of the grid (which there's no way he can in Brawn's car) it should be fine. And yes it will be good to see him out there purely because he wants to race and nothing else........
Now been confirmed.......awesome!
I have a very sneaky feeling the Red Bulls are going to be a continual pain the the but for all the leading teams, they may also cause an upset or two. 2010 will be THE season so long as politics and race fixing don't play an unwelcome part.

I think he is well off enough never to have to work again, it may be just to have that one last stab at the championship?
He can't break any more world records the two out of his reach are "winning championships with the most amount of teams" and "Wins per start ratio" unless he wins almost every GP for the next 2 years and does it with more than 2 teams those two are out of reach.

Lol I'm sure that money has nothing to do with it, he just needs to get back in a race car!
That's interesting - as they keep saying over and over he actually started racing with Mercedes in sports cars, so it kinda makes sense for him to finally end his career with Mercedes...........
I saw the interview with Schumacher on the BBC and he looked good and sounded good. Especially when he said he had effectively had three years off to recharge his batteries!
I also liked it when he said that the younger drivers had better take their chance to race against him!
The MAN is back! The only strange thing is "the Red Baron" not in a Ferrari!
Could this be the dawn of the "New" Silver Arrows of old?
I hope so, it's a really exciting prospect
