Well they do work but I have one you plug into the wall socket, there would not be much sunlight in a dark garage with the lights switched off:laugh:. When I come home and if the battery is flat I charge it up during the day and switch it off at night
cheers guys,the car was left for five weeks with a new battery and as expected was flat i have a normal charger put that on for 5mins and started the car, just wanted to know the best way to leave it. :biggrin: only prob if battery disconected is no alarm unless there is some sort of back up for it

That would be a good idea if it run off rain and snow not the sun:laugh:
