No mate, he started back to work this week, they pay out due to him having the op itself,

a lot of the payment is for after care if he needs it, but it went fine so he's now looking for a new car Big Grin

Right people, after spending the last few weeks in Hospital with not much to do i got thinking about what to do with the lex. I was still in 2 minds with what to do and if i am going to do anything then now is the time to do it while im off work and don't need to use the car as such.

It was decided that i would look into adding Sarah onto the insurance and we could possibly swap cars during the week. Meaning i can do the 40 mile round trip in a 1.0 litre yaris which will barely cost me anything in fuel. Its mainly motorway but as its rush hour i barely go over 50mph most days.

Sarah can do the 4 mile round trip to her work in mine, although im not keen on her driving my car she knows what will happen to her if she gets ONE mark on it.

It all came down to insurance! If i can justify the rise in cost and still save money as i will be paying less on fuel then i can justify keeping the lexus. If the insurance is going to go stupid then the lex would have to go.

Well i have just got off the phone with Sky Insurnace and i can say that...............

Im Keeping the Lexus Smile

Even though sarah has 3 points and the big accident from last year against her name the extra in premium to add her name was £73.45. Well pleased with that. I will save that money in the first 2 weeks of using her car to go to work and then every week ater that gives me more money in my pocket.

Sarah doesn't know yet but i will tell her when she gets in from work. She will be over the moon as she really wants us to keep the lexus and she is getting bored of her car so now she can drive mine .................if i let her :Fish:

Plan for the lex is to change a few things that im not happy with and continue with a few mods as its not finished in my eye's. Hopefully looking at refurbing the wheels in a new 'fresher' colour, not sure what yet but maybe something different  rework the exhaust system. I love the sound of it but i want a more refined system so will be loosing the second silencer and maybe pre cats etc. Then continue to freshen the car up and clean parts where necesary. and maybe a full sound system??? but not sure yet? I have the buggy for pure power and insanity so the lex can be used for just driving about in comfort at no real pace Big Grin
