Moley sorry but you are wrong. stainless the magnet just sticks ever so slightly and with aluminium it dose not stick atoll. Try it with a aluninium drinks can and you'll see :biggrin:

well the brace are fitted as you know.
had a couple of times theyve scraped. most of the time just steep drives or uneven roads. but once or twice when ive been moving down country lanes in dips in the road. must have look good from the rear cause i bet it threw sparks up but not good for the confidence.
so gonna have a look under the car and see where their scraping and see if i can raise that bit up.
How much does your braces extend from the car Stav? From this pic that i found they do not seem to extend a lot. The front under brace seems to be me a perfect replacement of the OEM. It doesn't extend at all.
Notr: The braces shown in the pic are Cusco.
The front ones fine.
the rear however isnt.
the cusco ones are quite thin and are only a square.
The japsai ones are made of 7-8mm thick bar and have bits that go diagonally across. these bits are welded on top of the square bit so they stick down even further,
Gonna drop them off again and get them remade flat, then hope they fit.
see here:
shows how thick they are (infact you can see some other just to the left, they look the same as the cusco ones, so you can compare the thickness)
and fitted

I think the red thin ones to the side are TOMS ones, cause i dont think the cusco ones have the "X" piece
stav see the bars you have are you just going to use them as a template to make new flat ones?or you going to cut them up??
Prob cut them up mate
nooooooooooo :crying: cant the metal wizzard moley take mesurements??then you wont have to cut them up??then i can buy it off you??:thumbup1::lol:
