I am hoping to get one of these in the next couple of months. Does anyone know if it sits lower than the OEM backbox? I scrape a couple of speedbumps just now....Confusedad:

sorry to hi-jack topic but im looking at one of these as well...what do they sound like? are they way louder than OEM? how are they at idle? at low/high rpm?

iirc on idle they are fairly similar to oem but if you give it a boot full then it does sing, tbh even aftermarket exhausts are not that loud.

iirc on idle they are fairly similar to oem but if you give it a boot full then it does sing, tbh even aftermarket exhausts are not that loud.

Its all the cats that muffle the sound. I heard that removing the pre-cats the sound is greatly increased.

Hks is very quiet and a lot bigger than oem. I think the blueflame exhaust sounds rather nice

so whats the best exhaust if i want a bmw 330 kindof exhaust note around town and not some boyracer sound also i want to barely hear it on motorway journeys

Have a look for a peco back box, sounds very nice on an is200, not too loud and you dont hear it on the motorway? had one on mine before the Veilside backbox i fitted and it was nice and looked a bit oem:thumbup1:
