here you are anees Smile thanks for the reply very detailed CLICKY <thats the link to the Cat-D.

I've looked at insurance i'm in a good area and have quotes for around 1K which isn't bad considering i'm 23 (soon 24) and coming up 2 years NCB i'm not likely to be getting one this year as I need to sort finances and clear my credit card :Chair: if I were to get one again like you I wouldn't be going for massive power probably around the 400 mark with basic mods e.g. exhaust/fuel pump/injectors/de-cat/arbs and general breathing mods no major turbo plans.

I would rather the car have rocket like launch off the line than have amazing top end which imo isn't what evo's are about. Smile

DJ Wozza Just read the entire thread from start to finish Anees. Excellent results on the dyno, along with some nice styling touches (agree about dark wheels on this car mate exspecially with the carbon bits), I am not a fan of the roof spoiler, but you can't please everyone

Did the car come with a OE Sat Nav system or was the screen just a display for the radio etc ?

Hi Mate.

Nope..everything was done from scratch. comes with a crappy 80's style flashing stereo as standard. Touch screen was all fitted by me and my mate Nads.

I waited for the roof spoiler since the 3rd Dec and love it - makes the car for me but like you say mate everyone has their own tastes Big Grin

Wise words. Evos are all about drivability. That Evo you have linked to looks too cheap mate. :blink:Only 30K miles for a 2003 car? The front wing looks off colour to me too but deffo worth a look. I could post about it on MLR if you like? That car is getting close to being so cheap that you could buy it and sell it for more in parts.

The 4wheel drive grip and go is great, but remember you will need to uprate the clutch if you want to launch the car hard! Wink

haha Big Grin yeh i know mate like I say the yellow is either the bargain of the century or a complete dog. Not in a position to view cars for a while yet anyways nor do I want to because if I do i'm likely to do something stupid and buy it Big Grin Sure feel free to put it on MLR, colours i'm looking at are either the red (imo it looks evil with carbon fibre), white or that kind of gun metal/mauve colour they do.

To be honest when I was looking I actually said I wanted a gunmetal one and then a red one! But the silver looks nice with the carbon bits and because I am not much of a polisher makes it much easier for me to maintain.

I don't like them in black for some reason.??

hmm 1 black car is enough for me in my lifetime mate Big Grin to me when I think of evo's I think of carbon wings/splitters/diffusers etc and if it's on a black car then they just don't stand out which I don't like Smile

Agreed the silver is nice but I don't want to be the same as you Wink the Red and carbon is lovely ala this one off mlr

I have polished a good few car in my time, and silver is the hardest to polish/ wax
because you cant see the polish / wax that you have applied so buffing off is a nightmare.

Give me a dark coloured car to polish any day over a light coloured one

Lexus IS200 Mods--TTE Supercharger, Tein Superstreet Coilovers & EDFC, 6000K HID Lights, HKS Silent High Power Exhaust, DBA Front Discs, Kenwood DNX9240 Head Unit, 19" Rims, TRD Kit, FIGS Bonnet Struts, Greddy Pillar Pod & Defi Gauges, TTE Red ARBS . And Been To WIM twice
