Poor little 5od i feel for him, surely a fine would of been a better way or a renewed mot.
We were all silly when we were young, but crushing a car for this seem crazy.

I with Rabster they should start doing real police work and giving this lad a 7 day wonder then if he does it again then take the car.

I have tinted windows like most people how would we feel to lose our cars Blush

I hope he gets his car back but learns a good lesson about this as people that do this with there fogs pi55 you off.

Crushing is a tad harsh, all they have done is alienate another youngster, whatever happened to a simple fine or a producer showing its back to normal.

Think it was more the blue lights more than anything, as they were really bright, Just had a look at the insurance data base and his cars also coming up as not insured!! so that's probably the reason for taking it away?? :Chair:

If he has no insurance then he should have his car crashed.
As that adds around £30 per policy to us that do have insurance.

Lol, that is an amusing story! But yeah the no insurance thing makes a lot more sense as I'm pretty sure they can't impound a car for having blue leds - although that is a good warning to anyone with blue leds, get rid of them!

I guess he didn't want to admit the real reason they were taking his car away. Now it makes sense. Crush his car and hopefully that'll teach him (and all his friends who hear what's happened) a lesson.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
