I don't know a huge amount about modifying cars but he's just lying isn't he? I can't see £45k worth of work there, maybe £15-20k (which is still insane) but it just couldn't be £45k

I wouldn't pay £45 for that car!

EDIT: I would if I intended only to break it and sell the parts, but not if I intended to drive it!

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

He might feel the same about IS200's :p Each to their own n all that ... I think we can all appreciate considerable time, money and no doubt stress has gone into that ... and if we don't like it, be grateful we don't have to own it, drive it, be seen in it or even look at it Smile

Well I could probs make mine into a showcar for less than that, its the fact he said 45 grand, if I had that sort of money I sure as hell wouldn't buy a saxo lol if you wanna do a project car at least get something that doesn't look like the back end of a rhino for a base model lol but agreed, fair play for knowing what he wants and working at getting it as he wants it

Watch your words Matt. The Saxo is the cousin of the 106, and my 106 is one of the best cars I have ever owned. It's a simple, fun little car, the likes of which is no longer made. Plus the tuning on mine combined with it's light weight give over 180bhp per tonne, making it not only a lot faster than your IS200, but as quick as my supercharged one (Pug has more bhp/tonne than even that, but the charged Lex makes up for it with extra torque!) It's only a £1k runabout, and my misses drives more than I these days, but a great little car all the same. (The styling on that Saxo is minging mind!)
