Yeah this has been on the go for a while, but for the price, they want bits off your car & they want to fit it for you (which will need to happen if you hand over bits from your car) and then obviously charge fortune in labour instead if having a charger-fitting-party!!!!!

I gave the guy I got my charger from a few bits and kept the airbox just in case but I still think the price is to much

Probably because TDI want a load of parts from you (airbox etc). If I was to buy a supercharger I'd want to keep the items that would taken be off in case I was to sell the supercharger and return my car to standard.

I've got a standard Lexus airbox with intake and the under tray in the shed that i'd pass on if anyone was interested in it? So you'd only have to swap the one manifold heat shield really due to it having a hole cut into for the SC cradle? Just have to make sure you keep hold of the rubber seal that fits on the throttle body and they don't whip it! :wink:

Got a reply back, £500 +vat for TDI to fit it, or i could buy just the charger as long as i supply them with my or standard stuff from car at a scrappy's. dont suppose £500 + vat is too expensive for fitting is it????
