had this problem with a supra a few years ago,and what we found was the thormstat housing was worn away at the bottom ,and letting by
not sure, but sound like the same problem

what sort of price are we talking with that mate? I feel like i want to sell the thing now, but ive just spent all that cash on getting the head gasket done Sad

:thumbup1:it did'nt cost much,think it was just under £40
not sure if they do a plastic one
how tofind out
remove the rad cap only when cold
start engine and rev to 20rpm
look in the rad,if the coolant circulate,thats your problem
the coolant should only circulate when warm or 65 degrees
anything below this,it should be closed

also get it flashed out,and use a anti rust agent antifreeze ,it got to clean
don't know where u are ,but if u need some anti freeze,i'll bring some up to knock hill next week,at no cost
u can arrange to pick it up from moley or Bobby:thumbup1:

well when they replaced the thermostat the first time the let all the coolant pour out, and filled it back up using blue coolant, is that right?

sounds like you might have an air lock in the system to me, had the same problem on my Skyline after i changed the turbo gaskets, took me ages to bleed the air out of it, Has the water level dropped in the radiator since you've driven it?

Lexus IS200 Sport Navigator (Now being stripped again) :blink:
