17-02-2017, 10:23 PM #7If you just need a single gas strut, they're much cheaper to get from a gas strut supplier on their own. FIGS kits cost a lot more, but they come with the proper brackets and stuff (which are critical), so are well worth it.

18-02-2017, 09:24 AM #9The OEM bonnet stay only costs about £15 from Lexus/Toyota, might be easier and cheaper just to get one from there (otherwise you could try breakers etc).

could cut it down but then it wont go in the hole correctly.
unless i put tape around where the clip goes so its harder to 'ping' out
i have a rod but its a bit long. and it falls out of the clip and rattles.
