Here's my fix posted on another site Wink:Bazza:

Well with today being sunday i spent time tinkering in my garage, tided the place up a bit and sorted out a stereo that i had kicking about for some background music.

So with the garage sorted i turned my hands to the is, got the car in sept last year and about 2 months later the bonet stay snapped on me!
So i just used a bit of hose clipage thing to do till i got a new one, £15 F that!

After looking around my garage for a few hours i came across some clips i bought for something?? and thought they my do the job.....

Just cut away half
[Image: DSC02563.JPG]
and fit it with a small self tapper.
works a treat...

But i didnt stop there, i fitted HIDs to both low and high beams so got 2 ballasts on both sides. the passanger sides quite tidy as theres a few plases to hide them, but they just flapped about on the drivers side, so i started digging in the garage draws and cubards to see what i could find to help with this untidyness and found this,
[Image: DSC02567.JPG]
which when cut and bent fitted like a glove,
[Image: DSC02569.JPG]
with both ballasts screwed together its not the best fit but with all the hunting i did looking for stuff i was running out of time so just roughley fitted them to it,
[Image: DSC02572.JPG]
did a bit of wire tidying with zip ties, and thats done till the next tinkering sunday.

The holed plate will be sprayed with some black Hammerite i,v got kicking about so that it looks better, if i find it!
