all down to the aero packages, I can't see lewis giving up when Alonso is the next target.

Interesting race yesterday, finally Vettel got the win he deserved, although it is starting to look like Red Bull have the package to win every race this season if reliability holds.

Hamilton had an amazing charge through the pack, he left the Ferrari's and Button for dead at the start, bit of a shame it didn't really translate into a result with Massa still finishing behind him at the end of the race.

Also love how tight the championship is at the top of the table currently, hope that continues through the season Smile

It was a very good race, Hamilton was man of the race for sure - its been a while since someone made a charge like that through the pack.

Living in Milton Keynes its good to see my home team win:tongue_smilie:

Schumacher - whos he then? Its all about the young blood.

I'm impressed with how the new teams are doing so far, Virgin managing to finish a race, Hispania improving a bit, Lotus doing quite well. Good considering their lack of testing.

Also Force India really seem to be coming good this season, which is nice.

Think Schmacher should pack his bags and go home, he's really doing nothing this season. Despite his protestations he really must be questioning why he decided to come back at all.

I see they're talking about bringing KERS back for next season, which I think would be a good thing. If they had a standardised package instead of all developing their own, it would help to keep costs down. And it would obviously help the overtaking.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Standard package would see off the manufacturers once and for all though?

increase the RPM for a set amount of time every lap, then we can see overtaking this year - as they also said during coverage.

Was a good race yesterday, loads of action :thumbup1:

I don't understand why they pitted Button so early though, his tyres were obviously suffering towards the end.

I laughed when Alonso went out a lap from the end, can't stand him

Marsdendean Surly Ferrari have and underlying problem if they can't hit the limiters for 100% of the race thou!

Didn't he have a problem with down shifting? They said it was nothing to do with him overtaking but I don't buy that myself. Bit of a coincidence that immediately after trying to pass Button his engine went!

If he had a downshift issue, he could have downshifted 1 or 2 gears to far and that finished the engine?

They can't rev higher than 18000 rpm - just normally they will run the engines a bit lower to maintain reliability and open up the full 18k when they need more power to overtake or something.

He had the downshift issue the whole race, I think the engine was unrelated - can't stand alonso either so it worked out well Smile
