Reverse beep
Reverse beep
Hi people.
Does anyone know how to disconnect the reverse beep as I am fitting reversing sensors. Dont want to loss the wiring thow as going to do something with the wiring so still know if put in reverse by accident.

I'm sure you can stop the beep, not sure how though?
the beeper is part of the speedo!!you can destroy the speaker that beeps or find the wire that sends the signal to the speaker..but make sure its the right wire your cutting though!!!

parthiban I didn't know that, so it's actually in the speedo cluster is it? Yep cutting the wire to the buzzer sounds like a simple way to do it, but is it the same buzzer that beeps if you pull away with the door open or with the handbrake on?

not sure if its the same beeper but it could be.......
think the easyest way to do the blue light think would be go to the rear of the car and test the wires at the rear light for the reverse feed then trace it to the front not too hard mate.
i take it back im sure its the red/black wire in the passenger side and its the very bottom connector 3rd from back wozza has a pic taken when i was working on his car
i think i have it at work so if he doesnt post before im working 2moz ill find it
