Does anyone know how to disconnect the reverse beep as I am fitting reversing sensors. Dont want to loss the wiring thow as going to do something with the wiring so still know if put in reverse by accident.

I'm sure you can stop the beep, not sure how though?

the beeper is part of the speedo!!you can destroy the speaker that beeps or find the wire that sends the signal to the speaker..but make sure its the right wire your cutting though!!!

ormi the beeper is part of the speedo!!you can destroy the speaker that beeps or find the wire that sends the signal to the speaker..but make sure its the right wire your cutting though!!!
I didn't know that, so it's actually in the speedo cluster is it? Yep cutting the wire to the buzzer sounds like a simple way to do it, but is it the same buzzer that beeps if you pull away with the door open or with the handbrake on?

This is what worries me.
I want to only disconnect the beep for reverse as not think will here the parking sensor over it.
But want the wiring as want to wire up some led somewhere that glow blue if in reverse.
Does anyone know where i can get hold of a wiring diagram???

think the easyest way to do the blue light think would be go to the rear of the car and test the wires at the rear light for the reverse feed then trace it to the front not too hard mate.

i take it back im sure its the red/black wire in the passenger side and its the very bottom connector 3rd from back wozza has a pic taken when i was working on his car
