How to refurb a wheel
Phil01 Chris, In the end I decided to use Toyota Silver No2 from Halfords, Looked at Vauxhall Silver Star but decided that Toyota had a deeper metallic finish, and best to stick to Toyota/Lexus brand lol

It is a good idea Phil, but the amount of time and effort Chris has put into these wheels I doubt he could make a profit doing them, I could be wrong but how much would a set refurbed to this standard cost ??
cameron Mmm I may give that a go with my alloys.can get a spare set from jay to pit on while I clean mine.just need to know where I can get the Tyres taken off and put on again.I know kwik fit etc would say no.

I think every tyre fitting place will do this for you , I mean when you buy tyres from the net you just take them to a garage and get them fitted !!!!
Just phone round and find the best deal
Phil01 Chris, With your skills and patience-get yourself a van, a generator 240v and go and do mobile polishing/refurbs mate.
It doee not have to be a huge investment.
In fact- If other genuine members where willing to invest say£50 each in you that should should defo help fund your van, then give us a wee bit of discount on work carried out. Any other member up for this
You seen the interest just from this site from Dean, me and others,
It is horrible to seen people with skills like yours out of work, not fair.
Phil

Nice work mate, that looks smart. However, while I don't like to rain on your parade, I'd say you're going to have to be prepared to re-do this every 12 months or so, because standard paint and lacquer isn't going to last long when you drive the car vs stones/brake dust/road salt etc. As I said though, it does look nice !
