02-03-2017, 06:32 AM #1can any of the perfomance caps be used on the standard rads? ive seem competion only ones at 1.3 and others at 1.2 whats best to go for? or does it not really matter what pressure rating it is at?

DJ Wozza I would guess on the standard radiator it wouldn't matter much mate.
I just got an HKS metal rad cap sticker, no one knows any different....until now that it :lol:

02-03-2017, 07:08 AM #4well the 1.3's say for competition use only so was just checking think i might go for the hks one as i think its 1.2 if my memory is working. just wanted to see if there was any noticable difference before i commited to getting one

Demon Iv'e got a Greddy one on mine, its a 1.3. I stole it off my bro's Supra just before he PX'd it LOL
do you notice any diffence with it?

02-03-2017, 07:19 AM #7I have a TRD 1.3 psi radiator cap on my IS300 and I noticed the needle on the temperature gauage now sits fractionaly lower when the car has heated up.
