parthiban We have cobbled streets in central london :Fish:

I meant more how the houses all back onto a central lane like that..........never seen that before :p

Yeah but your cobbled streets are actually clean - thats not right! :Fish: lol

But seriously - I hadn't realised that terraced houses like that were so unique.

Got a reply from my MP, stating he's in touch with the manager at council, who I also emailed directly, and found this when I got home !

Maybe I should drive around Nelson, take pics of other streets, and send an email.

Top Job ! Even the bins and boxes are behind the right houses loool

Result! Can't believe they responded so fast but what a transformation!

Lol, yeah they're clean (most of the time) and also really only on a few streets that cars don't really fit down now

What exactly is the point of that lane btw? Surely the bins could be out front, and if that lane was divided down the middle and given to each house either side of it, they'd each have a garden? (which is what we get down here)

Wow I've seen bigger gardens in central london.........

Whatever the reason for putting them in, it's surprising they haven't been removed and turned into gardens over the years....

true, but prefer the back street, good place to wash car, and dont want to be dragging bins from kitchen to the front !, as the front garden is even worse

this is not my address, but the front of out properties are like this, a tiny tiny yard !

Bet there's an election on the way - the council round our way just did a rubbish collection day.

Me Cynical................. **** right.
