i am now in phuket and doing a few days training at tiger muay thai, there are a few guys of UFC fame here training also.
its HOT temps have been pushing 38c on the islands the last days but no rain so far.
Malaysia on the 19th though.

quick update...... spent 5 days on a dive boat around the similan and surin islands, meant to be in the top 5 dive sites in the world.... I wasnt too impressed with the amount of seal life or coral structure but the diving was fun, 4 dives a day at around an hour each so a bit exhausting, i won the photo competition though so not too bad.

Sounds like an awesome trip mate - is everything ok in Thailand at the mo though? I don't know much about it but my bro had a trip planned for a few weeks time but has cancelled it due to some trouble out there?

i had my wallet stolen in thailand, ended up battering the bloke who took it and then spent about 5 hrs in a thai police station - great!!!! Due to all the flight issues i decided to get a flight to dubai and see a friend and get access to money otherwise living by western union.
so its a holiday i will remember thats for sure.......
pics bandwidth was an issue my end but they are fine now
thailand is fine mate.... just stay out of the political areas in BKK. BUT if it gets really bad they will close BKK airport but thats not an issue, plenty of options to get out of and into the country.

I wouldnt go there for a holiday, i only went as my mate lives there and i had an awsome time, strangly i had more alcohol there than i i normally do over here!
we went to a champagne brunch and it ended... hell i have no idea it ended, but apparently i was sprawled out in the lobby puking on the floor while people were checking in.. but this is pure hearsay as the person that told me couldnt remember what they were doing either.
