so majority of the work is now done :thumbup1:
just got a few hoses and electrics to refit then its nearly happy days.

ok so i have now got my cylinder head in place and i have been given torque settings and procedures these being

stage 1 tighten to 25Nm
stage 2 tighten to 49Nm
stage 3 turn another 90degrees

however i have heard other stories from others now so i am a little confused
i have been told that once torqyed to stage 2 i then UNDO all bolts in reverse order and then redo as in stage 1 and 2 and then comes the 90degree turn.

unfortunately i arent a mechanic so i arent 100% sure what to do :crying:

no not the undoing part didnt read it all.
just do it up stage 1 then 2 then 90 degree turn.
he said be careful coz u gotta get the cams in the right place.
are you putting the head on first?

Chris do not need to back off,

stage 1, then stage2 then plus 90

Dont loosen off mate and retorque, never heard of that one

1990 Eunos Roadster in Mariner DU blue
