29-03-2017, 12:24 AM #11German paint in general is very hard yes, this was certainly not as hard, but quite a bit harder than japanese paint which is notoriously soft
Must say i was suprised at the number of swirl marks on the car so i think Christian has done a great job of removing most if not all.
Bet your really happy owner of the car Graham, i think it is a great colour choice and a lovely car.
Why we dont see more of these always baffles me as there are a great top end marquee
With great second hand value.
I agree this job would of look stunning had the sun come out.

Didn't really appreciate how many swirl marks and the dullness of the paint until it's corrected. As said, shame the sun wasn't shining. Pulled into the petrol station last night and under the lights the car really looked stunning. This lunchtime the sun is shining, and again, the car looks stunning. As Christian says, the correction will give a really good foundation for the numerous coats of Dodo Supernatural which I will apply over the coming weeks. So, all in all, Me, one happy bunny, Car, one gleaming vehicle, and Christian, one great detailer. Hope to get to a meet soon so's you can see it in the flesh.
