DJ Wozza I run TTE Springs Steve.........................
Really ? ok, but they're on different shocks, perhaps that alters things ? Your car is certainly an awful lot lower than most on TTE springs. Or maybe it's the sub in the boot affecting things ?

is300_dino yeah agree as an 18 inch wheel would have further to travel, ie the extra 1 or 2 degrees to get it to lets say an upright position than a 16 or 17 inch wheel
It shouldn't do really, because the overall circumference of the wheel should be almost identical (i.e. smaller wheels use tyres with bigger sidewalls), assuming you're running the right size of tyres for the wheels. Unless I'm missing something ?

Gord 17inch to 18inch to 45mm to 40mm now you get it ?

The profile of the tyre isn't measured in mm, the 45 to 40 is a percentage of the width of the tyre.
a 215/45/17 tyre is 62.5cm in diameter, and a 225/40/18 is 63.7cm across. So that's a difference of 1.2cm in diameter, which equates to just 6mm difference on each side, i.e. between the tyre and the arch. I don't think that would have a great deal of affect on the geometry.

DJ Wozza That won't affect the ride height at the front Steve. The car was only lowered by about 10-15mm front and approx 20mm rear from what I remember.
That's what I thought too, I was clutching at straws. If those Eibach springs are exactly the same height as the TTE ones (which I believe is true), then the mounting points for the springs on your shocks are probably the reason for the difference. I still reckon that with TTE springs on OEM shocks you should be fine unless there's something wrong with your adjusters.

The point I was trying to make was about the different shocks. There must be something different about them to mean it rides much lower with TTE springs than the OEM shocks with TTE springs. I wasn't saying anything about SE/Sport.
