And then again it would also depend on what sort of off set you running with the bigger 18inch wheels to.
Offset wouldn't affect the ride height though. Am I misunderstanding you ? I thought we were just talking about ride height.
The bigger wheels actually have a very slightly bigger overall diameter. So they're going to put the centre of the wheels (and the chassis) 6mm higher off the ground. And the the top of the wheel will be 6mm closer to the top of the arch. I still doubt the size of the wheels is a factor in the geometry *assuming* people are running the "correct" sized wheels/tyres combo (i.e. very close overall diameter to OEM).

Wozza replied to say he had TTE springs (and his wasn't fine), but I said I thought that was because he had different shocks (the Tokico adjustable ones that he got from Dave, and they might have some sort of different mounting points.
If Wozza's was outside of the adjustable range on his original shocks and TTE springs then I can't explain that, especially if the problem was at the front(given he has his sub in the boot at the back).

DJ Wozza You will probably be ok mate, but when you go low on the IS200/IS300 chassis, sometimes there isn't enough adjustment left to correctly bring the

Mine is maxed out aswell (on tte springs/stock springs), but as mine is not driven all that much i can bear with the slight additional wear, will probably get a set before i go next year for my next check up!

If your using TTE springs from Toyota then surely they would not have designed them to the point where they go out of range on adjustments?
I have the TTE springs on standard shocks and have no issues although I will admit i have not had any of it adjusted but then I have no wear problems, I frequently check my tyre depths and I am running equal across the board front and back!!

You would think so mate, however dont forget that the IS comes out of the factory with the wrong geo settings:cursing::laugh:

Yep you are right, no 2 chassis's are the same so you can't predict what will happen when you lower the car.
An example would be mine (the mondeo), it's lowered 30mm yet I got camber wear on the inside. Yet alot of cars have been lowered 60mm with no camber wear at all! :blink:
